Who We Are
A Canadian Importer with Deep Asian Roots
Heritage North Impex is a Canadian wholesale import and export company specialising in premium rice, lentils, pulses, and spices. We bridge the gap between the world's most productive agricultural regions — India, Thailand, and Vietnam — and the retailers, distributors, and food manufacturers who serve Canadian and North American consumers.
Our founders brought decades of combined experience in food trade, logistics, and sourcing to build a company grounded in long-term relationships. We don't just buy and sell commodities — we work directly with growers and producers to understand their crops, their grading standards, and their capacity, so we can make commitments our customers can rely on.
From a single container to a full annual supply agreement, we approach every partnership with the same rigour and care. Our name reflects that commitment: Heritage, because we honour the agricultural traditions behind every product we carry. North, because Canada is our home and our primary market.

We have built direct sourcing relationships in three of the world's most important food-producing regions. Each relationship is maintained through regular visits, quality audits, and long-term purchase agreements.
India
Our largest sourcing market. We work with producers across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh.
